"March" to the library for an exciting Book Sale. Spring is in the air; flowers are beginning to bloom and your presence is requested at the Library March 25th for the Friends of the Library Book Sale. You won't want to miss the sale from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Take advantage of this colossal event and add gently used volumes to your ever growing personal library.

While visiting the book sale, why not stop and take in "Two Guys and a Gal" music being presented from 2:00pm-3:30pm. Enjoy!!!

Get Ready For Friends First Annual Art Weekend

This fall, November 3rd and 4th, everyone with a feel for the artistic, from adults to collegians to high school students, are invited and encouraged to plan now for their contributions to this highly anticipated event. There will be a separate division for grade school and middle school students. If you draw, paint, sculpt or photograph for pure joy, apply your individual artistic skills and consider being a part of our show. TIME TO ASK THE GARDENING EXPERT

The Friends of the North Bellmore Public Library's very own, Stephen Sarrantonio of L.I.L.A.C. (Long Island Landscape Designs and Concepts) will make a special appearance, Sunday, March 18th at 2:00 PM.
Residents will learn how to prepare and maintain gardens and as an added feature, potted spring bulbs will be available for sale.

Get out of the cold and attend the monthly meeting of The Friends of the North Bellmore Public Library., Wednesday, February 8th, starting at 10:00AM. Embrace the warm, congenial atmosphere while supporting a key community organization. Your attendance is critical to The Friend's current and future success.

A "Gently-Used" book sale takes place Sunday, February 12th from 1:30-3:30PM. The day is Lincoln's Birthday and Tuesday is Valentine's Day. Mark these important mid-winter events by purchasing a volume or two for a loved one or treat yourself to an important addition to your personal library collection.

Your first New Year's resolution should be to help promote the library community's continued growth.

Begin this process by joining The Friend's of the North Bellmore Public Library. Attend the new Year's initial meeting, Tuesday, January 17th beginning at 10:00AM.

If there is a single do-good local group you should join, it should be the "Friends" and support the library's new year programs all year long.
